Cartridge Selection and Replacement Use
Seven fixed focal depths are available:
- Facial Options: 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 3.0 mm, and 4.5 mm
- Body Options: 6.0 mm, 9.0 mm, and 13.0 mm
Each cartridge operates at one preset focal depth. For direct replacement, select the same depth as the existing cartridge. When adding a new depth, match the cartridge to the current 7D HIFU handpiece and connector configuration. Each depth is sold separately, so salons purchase only the option needed for current protocols or service expansion.
How Focal Depth Works
The compatible HIFU console sends electrical input to the cartridge transducer, which converts it into focused ultrasound waves that converge at the preset focal plane beneath the skin. Concentrated acoustic energy creates localized thermal points at that depth. Changing the cartridge shifts the focal plane, while the compatible console controls operating parameters.
